Plagiarism Detection Policy

If plagiarism is detected, the authors will be notified in an effort to resolve the situation; if no response is received or the issue is not resolved, the manuscript will be rejected for publication in the journal.

To conduct a plagiarism check on submitted manuscripts before the full peer review process begins, the journal will verify similarities with other previously published texts using the Turnitin tool and search engines to detect bibliographic matches.

Cases of detected plagiarism will be carefully evaluated by the editorial board of Horizonte Digital to determine the most appropriate course of action based on the situation, taking into account the journal’s code of ethics and best practices.
